Nyatabi is made by one independent developer, and every email is read by me. Most answers are below; if yours isn't, write in.

Getting started

Do I need an account?

No. Ledgers live on your iPhone. Sign in when you want to sync between devices, share a ledger, or use Nyatabi Cloud.

Trip ledger or daily ledger?

A trip ledger has dates, a day-by-day journey and a map. A daily ledger is for everyday spending and splitting with housemates.

Sharing a ledger

How do I invite people?

Open the ledger and tap Invite Companions. Send the link, or pick from Nearby iPhones when you're in the same room. Invited friends join free.

The invite link opens a web page, not the app

Install Nyatabi from the App Store first, then tap the link again.

Musubi and AI

Musubi got an amount wrong

Tap Edit on the card before you confirm; nothing is saved until you do. Expenses already saved can be edited from the ledger.

I've run out of receipt scans

Free scans reset every day. Pro gives 300 every 30 days, and a 100-scan pack never expires. You can always add the expense by hand.

How do I turn AI off?

In Settings, tap Withdraw All AI Permissions. Musubi stops sending anything until you agree again. See the Privacy Policy.

Pro and purchases

Pro didn't unlock on my new phone

Sign in with the same account, open the Pro page and tap Restore Purchases.

How do I cancel or get a refund?

Apple handles billing. Cancel in iPhone Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Account and data

Moving to a new iPhone

Sign in with the same account and your synced ledgers come back. Ledgers you kept only on the old phone need a backup first.

Can I export my data?

Pro members can export a ledger as an Excel spreadsheet. For anything else, email me.

How do I delete my account?

Settings › Delete Account. Your private data is deleted; ledgers you shared stay with the other members. Details in the Privacy Policy.
